Located in the Top End, Duggan Family Lawyers is a boutique family law firm with their office situated in the heart of Darwin in the Northern Territory.

Our Partner, Michelle Duggan, is a born and bred Territorian, who grew up in Katherine, studied at Charles Darwin University and has called Darwin home since 2011.

Michelle was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in December 2014 and has practised exclusively in family law matters since 2017.

Michelle understands that separation is often a very difficult time for clients, and she focuses on resolving matters as quickly and as amicably as possible, so that clients can move on with their lives with certainty.

Michelle is a dedicated lawyer who is approachable and won’t bore you with the big words and will explain the law and processes in a way that is easy to understand. 

Michelle takes great pride in giving back to the community and is passionate about ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to receive legal advice. She has volunteered and provided free legal advice at the Darwin Community Legal Service since 2015 and at the Top End Women’s Legal Service since 2018.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys playing touch football, trekking to the beautiful waterfalls the Northern Territory has to offer and travelling to her hometown of Katherine to spend time with her family and friends.

Michelle is committed to providing straight forward, timely, and practical legal advice to clients across the Northern Territory.
